Made from the pressings from our estate Riesling, this wine was barrel fermented in old French wood before being fortified with grape spirit and matured in a solera system for a number of years. As each vintage comes we blend a portion of Riesling from the new vintage with the older barrels. By doing so we’ve created a non vintage wine with great complexity and multi layered interest.

On the nose there is lovely ripe pear and sherbet on the nose, with a touch of aniseed. You’ll find pear compote and candied lemon on the palate, great palate weight and length, with refreshing acidity.
